Based in the UK, Film and Television composer Tim Morrish has scored films that have been in competition at Cannes Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, and BAFTA amongst others. His work includes scoring Eleven Film‘s BBC/Netflix Drama Red Rose, World Productions/ITV Studios‘ Prime Video Drama Fifteen-Love, the latest two series of Sky‘s Comedy-Drama Series Brassic, Leanne Welham’s debut BAFTA nominated feature PILI and Keep on Running and Sophie Littman‘s multi-award winning Sudden Light. He’s written additional score on the DC universe film Aquaman and The Alienist as well as being part of the scoring team on BAFTA nominated Darkest Hour and Paddington 2. In 2024, Tim co-scored Drama Republic‘s adaptation of David Nicholls‘ One Day series for Netflix.
Outside his scoring work he is one half of the duo Vanbur whose debut EP Human has been featured on the Prime Video show Hanna, Netflix‘s Virgin River and Sky Max‘s The Rising as well as Spotify‘s The Most Beautiful Songs in the World and Not Quite Classical playlists. In 2020 their second release Falling Colour came out on the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label as part of their Project XI series.
They released Human Reworked, featuring new reworked versions of their debut EP from the likes of Mafro, Mogwai and Katie Gateley. Vanbur were invited to contribute a composition (Carol of the Bells) for Deutsche Grammophon‘s Winter Tales compilation, consisting of reimaginings of the music of Christmas, alongside the likes of Roger and Brian Eno, Peter Gregson, and Hania Rani. They have since released stand-alone singles Threads and Earthing, as well as having contributed a track to music supervisor Randall Poster‘s For the Birds: The Birdsong Project.
Tim co-founded Audium Post, an award winning sound and music post-production company alongside Jessica Jones and Tom Jenkins. Since its inception, the company has worked on music and sound design for brands such as Playstation, Nicorette, Levi, Bose, Mercedes and BMW.
Tim studied at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Film music at the National Film and Television school where he scored many award winning short films.

Tim a également fait partie du département musical pour de grands projets studio dont Darkest Hour nominé pour un BAFTA et Paddington 2, ainsi que la composition musicale additionnelle pour la série TNT/Netflix The Alienist et le prochain Aquaman de DC Universe.
En 2016, il a cofondé Audium Post, une société primée de postproduction de son et musique aux côtés de Jessica Jones et Tom Jenkins. Depuis sa création, la société a travaillé sur la conception musicale et sonore pour des marques telles que Nikon, Reebok, Bose, Mercedes, New Look et BMW.
